If I plug in the wireless receiver for my Logitech G930, after I started Destiny 2, the game runs fine.
If I plug in the wireless receiver for my Logitech G930, before I start Destiny 2, the game doesn't "POST"
Additionally, if I used the headset (plugged in after starting D2) without any issues, but then exit to desktop and restart the game, it doesn't work either. None of the other games I play(ed) have that problem.

I got this problem too. I fixed it by only having my headset plugged in and nothing else. I unplugged my speakers and it worked fine. Also turn on my headset before launching.

I have no problem with my Logitech G930 Wireless Headset in D2...

Perhaps it has something to do with my DTS audio service in combination with the G930, because D2 keeps turning off (and corrupting) the audio services. Only a restart can turn them back on.
