If you have a hunter - use Nightstalker with the keen scout perk.
Much easier than worrying about getting a ghost with the resource locator perk for a specific location.
Also don't overlook the destination's materials when farming as they're just as good as turning in tokens.

They are not as good as farming chests. First off, they are literally not worth as much as tokens. And also, they stop becoming farmable after like 1-2 materials collecIted (which is retarded). It's literally not even worth pressing the collect button.

It's about optimizing your time spent in a given location to rank up that specific faction and only relying on tokens from chests is not utilizing the time. As for them yielding no return after collecting 1 or 2 - I haven't encountered that issue. Between the tokens and materials from the 4 destinations, I have close to 1,700 and that's not from just farming to farm.

Lol. I pick them up when i see them pretty often. They give me nothing. I promise you any way you have of ranking up, my way is better. You're acting like picking up materials will increase your faction rep gains by a percentage greater than less than 5%. Because thats all it is. About a 5% change in ranks/ hr. You would need like 50 materials just for one faction rank. You only need 25 tokens for one rank up. Also, chests reward you far more often. Like i said, the materials stop giving you materials after collecting 1-3.
