Biggest new IP of this generation so far?
As a combination of popularity, critical success, and influence on the industry and other titles.
I suspect popular others to be Horizon and... uh... PUBG, I suppose. When did Warframe come out? Rocket League is also quite popular. I should really try it one day.

Overwatch, with Destiny (unfortunately) in second. Titanfall deserves to be the best IMO.

I say the Biggest is Destiny, since there is a good chunk of things to do. I do like Overwatch but I feel it's too overpraised.

36 RepliesBiggest? Hmmmmm Of those Destiny, love it or hate it, it's absolutely Huge Think Overwatch is the best one listed. New IP I'm most interested in is Horizon Zero Dawn. Always liked Killzone, it's biggest flaw was not being Halo, which was kinda sad. Now they can grow outside of the juggernauts shadow.

Biggest? PUBG based on sales. 10 million sales in its 2017 release puts it at #9 all time already on PC games sales. With the Xbox release looming it’ll get to 11 million quickly.

I think you'd be hard pressed not to say Destiny or Overwatch given we are seeing flickers of those games show up throughout the industry now. In a year or so every multiplayer game is going to have battle royale modes like PUBG. So add that to the list.

Destiny is the biggest. Overwatch is most popular because of all the porn it inspired. All it really did for the industry was mainstream loot boxes.

Most influential is definitely Overwatch. My personal favorite, however, is Bloodborne.

4 RepliesI was a huge fan of HZD but I think I would have to give the title to the Witcher 3. Was definitely the best game I have played (opinion) this generation so far.

All these new IPs, imo, get kinda boring real quick.
