Wait until i can upload PS4 video's again. For some reason my PS4 won't upload video's.
I have at least 50 video's of how bad hit registration is in Destiny 2. Also many rocket hits video's with no damage and where the enemy's (same) weapons do at least double damage.
Destiny 2 PvP is fake fraud garbage.
And i have a very good internet.

f your PS4 isn't letting you upload videos try going into notifications tab and press options button, then select uploads and finally press x to select them individually and clear some/all of them from list. This worked for me. It seems when the list is too full it won't let you upload any more videos.

I put in a lot of pvp hours all 3 yrs of D1, and I have zero doubt the mind f uck smoke & mirrors is still functioning. None of the 'play leveling' bullshit including damage referee, rng bullets, hit detection, failed experimental match making, ect., were ever discussed regarding D2. I highly doubt Bungie will ever again admit to those manipulations. From what I've seen the pvp behaves approximately the same as D1 though. Things move faster with all of the encouraged\constucted team shooting, but there are still enough other encounters to see things in motion. I still see opponents ceasing to take damage in the midst of what appears to be an otherwise normal firefight . Look at the forums and you'll see plenty of new and lesser skilled saying 'I don't know how I got that kill !’ . There are plenty reporting irregularities as well.
-
Yeah apparently most people are experiencing issues of uploading their gameplays to Youtube from the PS4.
-
in the midst of what appears to be an otherwise normal firefight
^This. This is why I don't buy into the idea that latency is the cause of all abnormal or WTF moments in the Crucible. Sorry, but connections don't vary so much within a 2 second fight that half your bullets don't register properly. Hit detection issues are prevalent in PvE as well, so it is definitely an issue that is built into the game. I've recorded PvP clips and play tested on patrol with various NPC mobs. Sometimes dead on headshots will count as bodyshots. Rockets will detonate directly next to an enemy and no damage taken. Melees will disappear. People are not stupid and anyone who plays console FPSes at all knows when something was bad aim or bad game. I hope Bungie doesn't expect us to believe that Vandals have potato Wal-mart wifi broadband.
-
Exactly. But that's apparently not who this pvp was meant to appeal to. Those willing to accept or dismiss the illusion seem to be target market.
-
Illusion is the right word for Destiny 2 PvP.
-
No kidding. This is why we still have no ranked playlist and Quickplay\ Competitive are set up the way they are, among a number of other things.
-
Lets see some of these clips?
-
I only have one as example, which i've uploaded when i still could. As you can see i have a full bar connection. There are three different problems in this 10 seconds clip: 1. On the radar i only see my team mates, so i assume that those are my team mates. 2. When i see the enemy appear, no red bar above them. 3. I get killed behind the wall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHgCt_2Fj1o For me this is just a broken and unfinished game. And this is my PS4 internet: https://imgur.com/a/IK2Um When my PS4 will be able to upload video's again, then i will make an: Destiny 2, a Broken Game Channel or something like that.

Edited by Bieltan: 10/18/2017 10:03:24 AMAll due respect, that speedtest is on a premium, optimal line. Its not representative of connecting to another player. Proving you have a properly set up network goes beyond a mere speedtest d00d. Also, the radar was showing enemies in that direction from the very start of the clip.
Also, the radar was showing enemies in that direction from the very start of the clip
Yes, it was. But at the moment that they appear on my screen, it's like it is a CoD hardcore mode: no red bars above them. So i automatically assume those are my team mates. They simply appear too late on my screen.
Its not representative of connecting to another player. My ISP Technicians have been twice to my house, measuring everything and installing the newest technology cables, connectors, etc. So on my end everything is just perfect and i get punished by Bungie for having such a good internet. The other players get my data fast and perfectly, but i get their broken data too late....mostly.

So you're NAT type 1, right?
I have 0 packet loss
To what, a speedtest server or a lobby host in Destiny?
My ISP Technicians have been twice to my house, measuring everything and installing the newest technology cables, connectors, etc. So on my end everything is just perfect and i get punished by Bungie for having such a good internet.
I have enough experience of ISP Technicians and helpdesks to know thats generally a colossal waste of time lol. Fresh cables and connectors is good though.
The other players get my data fast and perfectly, but i get their broken data too late....mostly.
Everything sent to the authorative gamestate is timestamped anyway. Thats the only reason trades with hitscan weapons are even possible lol. More to the point, everyones data travels at the same speed anyway. Bandwidth is how much is moved in one go, not how fast it physically travels. The only thing that factors into how fast or slow data reaches the authoratative gamestate is distance, and how many 'hops' your data makes.

Do you work for Bungie? I ask this because i don't understand why you think that my network/ internet is not good. I work in the ICT and live in The Netherlands, the third country in the world with the best internet. Destiny with it's "Hybrid" P2P is the problem. The other players get my data fast and perfectly, but i get their broken data too late, mostly. So Bungie should fix their problems, not me.

This is the only one I kept, but at the 10 second mark, I put 8 rounds into the guy and only 3 counted. Then immediately after that a dude teleports from out of nowhere and wrecks me lol. But, this stuff happens a lot. And not just to me, but a lot of people. http://xboxclips.com/Vipera+Evanesca/7d3e35d6-5ab6-4e20-9e78-c03562e8b522

Hmm. I wish they would melt like this, when i'm shooting them :)
-
Nice. I call it like it is, only, and I'm not sure what happened but I see more of this now by far than I ever did in D1. I have clips saved as well, will get help posting them. There was a stretch of matches the other day, so bad I started recording every one. Guys standing there taking a clip + 5 melee then turning and killing you ....to the more subtle slanted encounter in which you fire first in sidearm duel, got the guy dead to rights then his degenerating health stops dropping as he miraculously comes from behind to finish you off = new & less skilled 'I don't know how I pulled that off bro !!!'. The more subtle encounters - those are manipulations, same as D1 I believe. It sure looks and behaves the same as D1. The more blatant ones are lags or hacks. It takes time and costs you to report this shit, which if history holds true is more for Bungie analysis vs. corrective measure = moot function. Slightly off topic, but with p2p pools reduced by 33% in this 4s environment, wouldn't it stand to reason that poor connection quality could have a higher probabilty to occur and last relatively longer? I have literally seen this b.s. start mid match like somebody turned on a switch.
-
Oh yeah I concur that Bungie manipulation is going on with these matches. A mix of bad connection, bad mechanics, and bad design are so jumbled that unless something is really noticeable, it is difficult to tell which is which. The blatant latency does not bother me as much as hit registration and/or the taking no damage mid firefight issue. Engaging first with someone who is looking the other way only to have them turn around and melt you with the same weapon/archetype is just ridiculous. Which honestly, calls into question every time we have had those moments where we felt like we outplayed someone or had better aim, if our opponent was going through the same crap. So really, I put little to no stock in "skill" in Destiny anymore when a fair number of deaths and kills come from mechanics obviously beyond our control.
-
Yep, pretty much spot on. It's an upstream swim all for the sake of inclusion. I'm a very consistent player with steady improvement, never plateaued in D1. In D2 it's all relative, but with all of the constructed sharing and manipulation it's becoming not worth the time. That's what Bungie wants though. This is why there's still no ranking system and pointless 'competitive' vs. quick play mode. If competitive won't sub for quitters then it should be for 3s and 4s. Quick play should in turn be for solos and 2s. The way it is now there's a defacto punishment system on both sides of the fence.
-
Ouch. I've had only one lobby out of over 60 like that so far.

Lucky :'( lol
