I like how nobody ever mentions the fact that we have seen the Worm God's children. They just talk about speech, which isn't exclusive to one race (thanks Calus, good ol' bud).

  • Umm... every single worm on the Dreadnaught, the same worms the Hive ingest for the symbiosis? The ones hidden around Titan's sub-levels? The ones that pop out of the Hive if you crit-shot them?

That doesn't preclude that the worms grubs grow into something else. The Hive also possibly start as worms since they pupate. The Hive do not carry fully fledged worms, they carry their grubs. We do not know what a fully grown worm god looks like, except for the description of long coils, curled wings, and folding jaws - which look nothing like the grubs we see. We know what an adult worm god looks like from
Behold my vast displacement, my ponderous strength, my great and coiling length, my folded jaws and curled wings. Behold the hiving cities symbiotic with my flesh. I am fecund, Aurash. I am at the beginning and end of lives.
Do a google search for serpentine winged dragon and you can get a good idea of what something described above could look. Here's an example - https://i.imgur.com/lGxyDKAh.png and https://i.imgur.com/vcMt0JNh.png The second is something Xivu says about Harmony and their 'wish dragons'
THE DRAGONS. Our gods should be ours alone. Their smug freedom is an insult to me. I’d shut them all in cells. Bring them to me!
So something on Harmony were related to or worshipped the worm gods. The fact that she singles out the 'wish dragons' suggest there is a link between them and the Hive worm gods. The worm gods also find it hilarious that Savathun wants to vivisect the dragons.

  • I thought the same about the picture. The last description also has me thinking about the connection between worms and dragons. It could be possible that serpentine like dragons are used by worms as hosts. Also, the creature on Titan seems like a giant grub... maybe a fully grown worm? That would make the dragons huge... I don't know, my head hurts lol

  • If it's "fully grown", then that would contradict the idea of it being a grub.

  • Yeah, I think when the Traveller left Harmony, some of the 'wish dragons' followed it, perhaps drawn to its Light. This is one of those things that Bungie probably won't answer for a long time, if at all. They like to see people speculate

  • The Worms have wings supposedly and dragons have wings

  • The Hive are hosts to the worm just like a parasite and the Ahamkara are described as parasitic species
