My favourite activity in d2 is prestige nightfall, I love the timer. Nightfall's actually require skill and communication again.
-
It requires no communication, i have done it twice with no mics. Still is more of a chore than fun

What does a scavenger hunt for anomalies have to do with skill? Before entering the NF this week, I watched Flamm's youtube video twice and created a mental checklist for anomaly locations in each room. Easily completed it on the first run. It's artificial difficulty. And it's not fun. The key is to let youtubers do the work for you.

Exactly. I thought the timer was annoying, until I found out that I just had to keep trying and be better. And hey, it worked!
Exactly. I thought the timer was annoying, until I found out that I just had to keep trying and be better. And hey, it worked!
exactly, nightfalls are not easy any more and they never should have been. if it's too hard that's fine, either don't play it or improve your game until you are good enough to do the endgame stuff.

Yep. I can understand the difference between "hard" and "challenging". I feel like the timer is challenging, because it makes you do your best to get through the Nightfall as fast as possible. In order for me to get Rat King, my team had to try a couple of times before getting it just right, and getting the strategy down. I loved that. It felt rewarding and satisfying. So yeah, NFs are a big improvement.
