Obviously doesn't suit your play style, I do just fine with my hunter and perform better with it than my Titan or warlock. Every match I'm getting atleast a 2.0-3.0 kd. I'm glad d2 is more about the gunplay and not super or abilities. Supers should be taken out of pvp imo, they ruin the game and people think there badass mlg because they can kill someone with a golden gun but in a 1v1 gunfight they would get destroyed

  • Yes like you I want D2 to be based off of skill but look if 1 class has skills shittier than the others it means it's not balanced simple and done. Now as for me, I played my hunter since D1. I have 3.87 k/d Average and thats gone down from 4.32 to 3.87 because I am doing crappy lately. My point is I like my guns and my skill but when a person kills me based off a class who can heal a whole team compared to my class where I spin 😂😂😂 I'm not doing anything for my team. Simple and easy the hunter class no matter if I do good or you do good don't change the fact the class still sucks. Congrats your good with guns but the class compared to the others suck period and simple. If I was dead wrong there would have been so many taking sides saying it is good...but no one is and there's so many people who say it sucks. We maybe good my bro but still the class isn't even comparable to the others.

  • Ya I'm not gonna lie, I love my hunter and always been one since beta (D1). I have usually been good with a Hunter. But in D2, they do seem rather underwhelming (especially the tether! It takes sooo long to trap people!) Bungie needs to buff them up a tad bit. Not a whole lot buy enough where people are putting, "respek on our name!"

  • Play a Hunter as my main. Just started a different class cause a few things seem broken. The dodge for any subclass has no I-frames and doesn't dodge anything. I can reload just as fast so all it's good for is reloading on the run. Kinda useless unless I want to melee everything, but we're designed to be squishy and mobile, not in the middle of the damn adds. Arcblade seems ok for clearing adds and sometimes in pvp, but if people just run away they're fine, even with the dodge perk for aoe on. Golden gun seems weak. No longer penetrates and god forbid your aim is off a little bit you've just wasted your super. I try to use void tethers to help groups in pve but even with the light orb perk, 7 tethered enemies get killed and only 2 orbs get generated? I guess I have a smoke bomb that I can use to turn party invisible for 2-3 seconds to regen shields in a boss fight. Tethers don't really help dps a boss for some reason. Just my opinion, but compared to the other 2 classes the hunter feels a bit out of place. A dodge that doesn't really dodge, just recharges melee or reloads. An arc super that doesn't increase movement and is useless on most bosses, a highly nerfed GG and void tethers that add little to no dps when you need it or perks that don't seem to work correctly when you use them. I'll keep playing him though. Go invisible with a smoke bomb to rez a team member or something....
