The i5 is plenty for what you're looking for and the i7 would just be a waste of money. The GTX 1050 just isn't enough and upgrading to 1070 is well worth it. This is all right at your $1,100 budget. That being said, people are always going to have opinions and make changes to your build when you ask, so take it all with a grain of salt.
