Can you bring back sparrow racing league?
First off 7 maps this time, no excuse's.
Now, why do I want it back? In my experience SRL was the most fun way for me to enjoy crucible rep grinding (other than mayhem [u]whatever[/u] game type). The reason for this is because it fited my own way in leveling up my factions.
This is a rundown on how I liked to do stuff, first off pick up all vanguard bounties, spend time In patrol completing them, finally finish it off by either doing a whole bunch of patrols in the plague lands or by doing strikes. So with that done I then hop into the crucible and play clash, near the end of my first game I take the time to use a crucible rep booster, by the time it runs out I've levelled up in both vanguard and crucible, which in turn is a full rank in my faction (sometimes it's a little of or above, but that's why we have donations)
Now with that in mind, I'm going to say I absolutely am a blueberry in the crucible, I can try with all my might and maybe just break even but at the end of the day, I just suck.
SRL though is a completely different story, in that you don't have to worry about afk's or even how bad you do, because in the same time it takes me to play crucible with rubbish results, I'm actually having fun, racing.
Sure there are bugs and contrarian complaints are there, but I really did enjoy it. So please bring it back.
P.S. [spoiler]If you're opposed to the idea of SRL staying around, why? Like how could you possibly spin this into something bad? It's a fun side activity, at most it's 10% of the game. For those who say " This is a shooter not a racer" I'll just say there are AFK'S who are literally not doing that very thing in pve or pvp. SRL solves this problem because you do [b]not[/b] need to care about that, because it's a race with 1 clear winner.[/spoiler]
PS: it being in private matches is great, but getting people to it, is not fun..

1 ReplyI absolutely loved it, reminded me of Star Wars: Pod Racer back in the day. I really hope they bring it back as a regular gametype because it was a nice change of pace and made the world feel more alive in my eyes.
