Make IO great again
Is it just me or is IO irrelevant after a couple of story missions?
Weapon quest, not even an exotic.
Rarely anybody knows how to activate heroic public events or just simply ignores them since the taken are annoying AF.
Sure, the next reset will probably be on IO for public event milestone and cayde's chests, but after everyone's done, IO will be empty again.
Let's make IO great again like Nessus or the EDZ! (Titan is meh)

To me, Io seems lacking. The whole being last touched by the Traveler seems very ignored for more vex architecture. Feels like a less vegetated Venus. I guess Asher not being entertaining doesn't help either, but I just kinda ignore him. Overall I don't feel like the place delivers that wondrous feeling you'd expect after about 10 minutes.

After an entire year of nothing but Taken content (TTK), no one wants anything to do with a planet of Taken enemies. Just remove the Taken from the game. That's how much I want to see Taken on any planet.

Everybody hates The Taken. Terribly annoying with constant teleporting and shielding.

The hunter set looks great and is the best type of armor, that's the only reason to go back.

Last place the Traveller visited, so I'm sure it's going to be a cool story section. Perhaps some backstory / mystery revealed! That place where it landed was cool looking! The backstory potential alone got me excited. And.... disappointment. A lot of Taken... my least favorite enemy group in the game for MANY reasons. Not as large as some other zones. Not too thrilled with the Public Events Did I mention I hate the Taken? And the story missions? Oh no the Cabal want to mine for light, and the Taken showed up.

What? IO is my jam. Spent so much time grinding Asher Mir's engrams for that sweet graceful warlock armor. Still only have the robe and warlock bond, but I'm getting there.

9 RepliesProbably cause Io is one of the smaller maps next to Titan except Titan has one of the more unique looking environments. Whenever I go to Io, I feel like I'm in Venus in D1 so it feels kinda boring, for it feels like I've been here a hundred times already. Also the Weapon Quest is worth doing for the Man O War linear fusion rifle.

It's taken / injection rig pub events suck as well. 2 hardest ones. Taken suck. Io sucks.

Out of Destiny 2's Destinations, I was looking forward to exploring Io the most, out of the 4 Destinations it looked the most Exotic, the most alien, the most mysterious. Then I realised the whole entire planet/moon was infested with -blam!-ing Taken and now I just pretend that Io doesn't exist.

Most boring play area, not all that well designed, very little meaning to the planet, and i despise the taken. Only reason I'm ever there is for that strike

Io and Titan are my favorite locations, along with EDZ. But especially Titan and Io.

In the same time i clear 10 of them on Nessus, where on IO the 3rd event would start. They should make that each planet should have unique Public Events with unique loot table. World Bosses with unique loot, would be also great.
