This is literally counterintuitive to Bungie's main promise on patching things in D2.
They made weapons with single rolls because if one particular weapon was a problem, they could tinker with that without the whole archetype being thrown out of whack.
They could have singled out the Nessus chests, but they went completely backwards this time and nerfed everything, COMPLETELY IN THE CONTRARY OF WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO.

Better wait 40 minutes between each cache, and hope you don't stumble into the random cases where it decides to be empty even on the first chest you looted. Lost Sectors too, which already have a limit (Daily, or three days or something) on being able to do them.

There's a special reward for looting all 5 caches? I wouldn't know as I've always opened one or more to receive NOTHING. :(

A couple of my clan guys got what appear to be guns specific to him (or that no one in my clan or friends clan of a total of 40 odd regular players have seen before), by getting all the Oddity items, yeah. I was questioning the quest myself. It's a 1/week thing, that didn't even pay the glimmer back for the map costs from what I could tell. Not sure on week 1 (and week 1 I got emblems), but week 2 I had an empty chest. And this week despite avoiding everything but the caches, and having the farm up glimmer for the last two, had three fail chests.

Yeah, this *whole mess* because of one bad chest on Nessus.
