Or you can politely tell them that their post is in the wrong forum and tell them how to edit their hashtag to move it to the correct forum. Or if you're too lazy for all that just report the thread as illegal activity so the Ninjas can move it for them and move on. There's no need to be a jerk and no need for cringy spam.

Most of the time when you tell them that, they outright refuse to move their post. I've even seen one thread where instead of moving his post when addressed, the OP just started hurling insults

I know, it does happen from time to time. A lot if it comes from them feeling attacked from every other member of #Offtopic who thinks it's fun to be a jerk to someone who's obviously lost. When that happens I usually just report it and let the Ninjas deal with it. No reason to argue.
