For those who say take the landlord to court, many States allow 3 day evictions for any violation of the lease agreement. A 30 day notice is a curtesy, a 3 day notice is the minimum.

  • That's life. You sign a contract, you better be prepared to fulfill your side of it.

  • I know you're 14 and don't understand that life is unpredictable, so here's a little lesson. Life is unpredictable. Not every situation will go exactly as planned and not being able to wait a little extra and recieve more than usual is a shitty thing to do that will come back to bite you. Now not only is the landlord losing the extra money this month, but also money on doing background checks and for the duration of the time there are no tenants.

  • You must be 14 as well, because you don't seem to understand that legal contracts are, in fact, binding. A breach of said contract usually results in consequences.

What a joke. If you are living pay-check to pay-check, and your employer says, due to company reason, you will not be paid for another week. Are you going to be fine with that? No of course not.. and for landlords, that rent income may be there principle, if not only, source of income.

  • I'm 34, and a contract is a contract. Plus if the landlord want to evict for such a small violation it probably because his tenant was a shitty tenant.
