I want them to bring SRL back, but with how you get better sparrows now it's going to limit players participating.

To be fair, you either had to use Eververse or have preordered TDB to get a trick sparrow at the start of SRL. Those are probably the best sparrows, so I'd say that Destiny 2 has a better situation because you can potentially get exotic sparrows for free.

Not really, if players grind the Nightfall they can get a 160 Speed Legendary Sparrow, you don't need to get them from Bright Engrams.
