The same thing happened to me on my second titan. Seems kind of strange that Bungie would do that. Thanks for the explanation.

They did it so you couldn't make 3 characters and just straight power level

Makes a lot more sense. I assume it'll reset tomorrow? I deleted the first titan so after tomorrow i shouldn't have an issue yes?

As far as I know yes. I don't know if the same thing happens on multiple characters in general
