Consider the following. There is no way to interact with others in game other then emotes. You have to go through menus to both inspect players as well as invite them, which incidentally is [i]also[/i] where you see their light level. So, light level is only accessible in a location where it happens to be pertinent information as well. Seems to me like the system is working.

  • I understand your point, but in the overall QoL and convenience of seeing their power level next to their name instead of a 20 (which in a couple of months is just wasted space, most people are 20 anyways) and a bunch of 40s in D1's case. At that point, it's not very useful information, it only was really useful back in Vanilla D1, where you saw their lvl at 30 or 35 etc. I just thought it would be kinda cool and more convenient instead of looking a bunch of 20s next to peoples names. side note, there is a voice chat to join with others and with PC taking into consideration, another way to 'interact' is a text chat.
