How much do you want to bet parts of the removed abilities are just going to be ported over to exotics?
Like making Rift essentially grant essentially some form of Song of Flame?

If they bring back HotPF and make it a viable useful team buff exotic, ill wet my pants in excitement. Ill be mad at their unoriginality, but will still like the exotic.
