We need to do a better job weeding out the unfit officers. This guy is a problem.
I hope she sues everyone she can.

While I agree, I do not think she should sue the department, unless they exonerate him on this. I do think she should sue his ass though. Personally, if she is married, I hope her husband is allowed to whip his ass.
-
Putting him in prison would be much more satisfying. And the convict population would show him a new meaning of butt-whuppin'. And maybe butt-something else, too.
-
Good point, lol. He will have a BSOBH!
Big Stretched Out Bung Hole
He's a pig, he should squeal like one. Most cops aren't pigs, let me be clear on that. But that guy was a pig.
-
I agree completely. I know a lot of good cops, but a guy like him, he deserves every last single bit of butt pain he can get! I posted the 20 minute long version of this video on here somewhere, watch that with headphones & listen in real close in the beginning & after she gets put in the car. You will want to punch them even more, in my opinion.

If true, the LT is responsible and the detective violently obeyed an unlawful order. Personally, i would say the department needs to be made an example of, thats just how i feel about it though.

I have not heard about that, but if so, that would require a seperate investigation, I would think. I mean, this detective probably did not tell his superior the whole truth, he probably just said, "This bitch is refusing to take the blood." and not telling him she is trying to follow hospital procedures & double checking with her superior(s) because she does not think she is legally allowed to. Mind you, if the whole department is this......."special"......then yeah, sue the pants off of them & let her or her husband have 5 minutes alone with him cuffed to a chair as an added bonus.

That last bit could go a completely different direction.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Oh very nice! Very nice indeed! I must applaud you sir, must applaud!

I'd like to know the whole story before I make a judgment. But it does seen that the officer was out of line.
-
The whole story is quite clear. There's no context that isn't already provided. Out of line is an understatement.

This is a 20 minute clip.

But it does seen that the officer was out of line.
Here is the whole story, there are many other sources if mine fails to meet your standards. Clip from TIME https://youtu.be/3n6hNcmb9Pw Hospital regs are that blood can be drawn with consent, if a warrant is issued, or if the patient is under arrest. The patient could not consent and the other factors were not met. Deputy Dumbass is told repeatedly that he is making a huge mistake, Detective Dickface then violently abuses his authority and drags the nurse out. Even if substances were found this would be classified as an illigal search and seizure, and any potential case would be thrown out. Zero gray area, open and shut. We have a serious problem in this country with allowing people with hero complexes, ego and narcissism problems and many other mental issues to police us. This man clearly had zero respect for the law, thats a huge problem if youre employed as law enforcement. We need a real change, and when this crap happens examples should be made of these people.
