To describe the actions of a foolish person, as in, "what bill got up to last night, was utter twattery." A room full of ladies could also be described as, "a complete twatfest." Any American I've ever heard say it has pronounced it incorrectly, that's all I know. Maybe you guys just say a's differently. It's like niche, I've never once heard an American say that word correctly either.
