Not necessarily. The devs of the game Have more to do with how the game comes out than the publishers do, and we're talking a pretty small team of maybe 20 employees (also the company responsible for making mighty no. 9). I would never expect a $40 game made by rather fresh teams with the intent of not being AAA to be goty, no matter who punishes it.

Don't worry about this guy. He seriously has Sony's wang so far down his throat it hurts. I've never seen a post with him in it not praising something PlayStation or bringing up PlayStation.

Supergiant, thatgamecompany, etc say hi. Small teams with small budgets and they pump out GOTY contenders. Give this shit to sucker punch, ND or one of the above and I promise you this game will be in the top 5 of the year.

I would personally not consider most of those is games to be gory contenders. Nor would I want to rip the game from the devs that already make it.

Why, console exclusives win GOTY all the time.

TW3 won 2015 Overwatch won 2016, even tho UC4 won more GOTY awards, (180+ vs 80-90 ish) and it's the true GOTY 2016.
