Hey foxburton99 how's it going? I just read the word "ontoformer" in the Osiris Grimoire card - can you speculate on a meaning? A quick search by me yielded zero results.

  • I'm doing well, thank you I'm sorry but could you type up the sentence that it's in for me, along with the previous and following sentences? I know it's a hassle but context helps and I am unfortunately unable to view any grimoire at the moment. I'm afraid to say a link to Ishtar Collective won't work either

  • No hassle at all. " I don’t know where you have gone, but I can no longer send Ghosts out to find you. Some come back— with tales of your death or how you went seeking answers from the far reaches of space and time. That you found a way to explore the Vex gate networks. That you've made breakthrough after breakthrough as to their origins— theories that a Guardian could not be simulated, that the Traveler might be an ontoformer or a god-incubator, that the Vex had diverged into multiple groups in order to secure 'an end state for every possible configuration of reality'." Cheers!

  • Well there's no definition on ontoformer, but using the prefix "onto" and the definition of ontology I believe that calling the Traveler an ontoformer means that it is a being with an existence abstract to our own and/or that it creates existence I'm definitely going to remember this little gold nugget of information, so thanks for bringing this question to my awareness
