CoD: WWII = 234,009 for both Xbox One and PS4 pre-orders. Destiny 2 = 281,970 for both Xbox One and PS4 pre-orders. The site did not include PC pre-orders, so what that number is I'm unsure. This is why cherry picking data is bad. Not that pre-order numbers are the only tell of how good a game will or will not be. Just like movies, shows, and anything else the content is what matters, and sometimes things are hits or flops at first but over time the content will win out (or lose as the case may be). Different kinds of games I would say. Sure they are both FPSs but they cater to different audiences and are completely different from a competitive standpoint.
