This whole thing has become terrifying if you ask me. This movement to stifle free thought in the name of morality is incredibly dangerous. It has the hallmarks of totalitarianism and PEOPLE THINK IT IS REASONABLE.
I'm a minority. I have three kids. I would much rather have them grow up in a world with racism than a world where the mob controls free thought. This type of shit is why we homeschool.

An exchange from "Assassin's Creed 2" comes to mind. A dying Templar defends his position: "Sometimes the people have to be told what to think." Ezio responds: "No good ever comes of that." In light of that, I'll stick with an America where you're free to be a N@zi. And administer uppercuts (or worse) to those who turn their repellent beliefs into destructive actions.

It's also a little self-contradictory, no? The same people who reject conventional norms and mores as arbitrary and wrong seek to force their mores(necessarily just as arbitrary from a postmodern perspective) onto others. Freedom to do what you want to do is their paramount value and it immediately falls apart when practiced.

I agree with you except that they only push that everyone can do what they want to. In practice it is everyone needs to do what THEY want you to do. Therein less the danger.
