Since I had gotten info from that bartender I was anxious to get out of the infirmary. I began explaining, "I have the power to summon a divine spear called True Longinus. It killed a god at its prime. I have no idea how to use most of its powers and need to learn how to do so. Its a sacred gear if you know what those are."

"Sacred gear. Where did you get your hands on sacred gear? That's weaponry of angels right there." The man said, glancing over.

"Wielders are born with the power to summon it. So I was born with that power. Supposedly, mine only has one in existence so I am the only user that of it that exists right now."

(My character is based off an already existing franchise so that statement your character made isn't correct) "Actually you might be thinking of holy swords and similar weapons. Sacred Gears can be used by angels if they were human born like I was, or extract the magical abilities of its wielder, thus killing them. I may be a fallen angel but I was once a reincarnated angel."

(You're assuming he knows about the franchise, which he doesn't...) "So it is Angel weaponry. But more on a technicality then anything." The man said,chuckling slightly.

"Yes. Would you like to se it? That might give us somewhere to start with on training."

"Well we'll head into the courtyard for a proper look at it." The man said, rising to his feet.

I agree and get up to follow. When we arrive I stand in the center of courtyard. I raise my arm. A great silver light shinned and the shape of a spear formed. "This is True Longinus."

"May I?" The man asked, reaching out his hand towards the spear.

"Sure. But if you try anything with it, I can always call it back before its used against me."

"And why would I use it against you?" The man asked, shaking his head.

"Sorry, I'm just overly cautious. Just saying so. Here." I hand him the spear. " I never got your name. I am Jonathan, and you are?"

"Royal." The man said with a nod, spinning the spear in his hand. "It's an impressive piece. Feels a bit light." He commented, stabbing upwards into the air.

I wait for Royal's analysis to continue, waiting patiently.

"Tell me about how you... Discovered it." He said, spinning it once more.

" I awakened my power to summon it when I was backed into a corner by a rouge demon that killed my family one by one and violated their corpses necrophilliacally while I was forced to watch. I was being saved for last. I couldn't defend them or avenge them. I came here to develop its abilities."

"And what exactly where the capabilities of the spear? When you used it against the demon?"

"But that was why I came for training. It was because I lack the skill."

"I only landed a grazing blow. I found out that my power's reputation proceeds it. So she likely got ahead of her self and fled. Even though I had no experience with using it."

"Hm..." Royal said, handicap the spear back. "Show me what you do know."

I show off my skill, and and extend the spear. "You were there when I unlocked that power, so If you remember that energy field, thats all I have unlocked as of now."

"Can you voluntarily use that power? Or is it more accidental?"

"Haven't tried since I unlocked it the other day. I've been laid up in the infirmary from how long it lasted." If I can turn it off then I'll be fine to try it now."

"Let's see what you got, then." Royal said, taking a step back and motioning for Johnathan to do his thing.
