Who else is still going to play 1 when 2 comes out?
Seems like a bit of a waste to completely abandon all the work you put into your characters. I'm sure there's people out there just like me who have gear that's nigh impossible to obtain nowadays and some loose ends left still to tie up, that and you're gonna come back to use your machine guns they've decided not to add into the second one. I don't know that's how I feel about it anyway, feels like a waste to move on completely after putting so much time into the game

Absolutely not. I fired it up just for kicks yesterday and the connections were at an all-time low. Loaded into two games that weren't even fully populated too. It'll be even worse after D2 drops. I had my fun I'm ready for D2 and all the other FPS games I play.

You could say this about any series or really any game ever. Just because you've put time into something doesn't mean you need to keep it around forever, that's hoarder mentality. You aren't going to play Destiny forever so you gotta leave it at some point. I played League of Legends and spent hundreds of dollars at least buying RP points and all that has gone to waste now that I don't play anymore. But it's fine because I enjoyed what I payed for and now moved on.

Used to say I would, as I want to finish the game, but I recently realized that I can't 100% the collectables in the game, so no point. As of now, I have no intentions of getting D2. Just sticking around forums for friends and to see if D2 is actually better than just "meh".

The biggest part is the financial factor, which is I don't have to pay to play online like consoles. Something I will not compromise on just to play D1. I have already effectively cancelled my plus subscription. They are lucky D1 was console exclusive as long as it was to be honest.

I'm going to go back to retire my vault. The game is pretty stale now because other than pointless grinding for the book there isn't anything fun to do.

12 RepliesEdited by Octopus: 8/9/2017 3:49:49 PMWhen 2 comes out and you play it, it's still like you playing 1, as 2 is 1, just reskinned...hell, even this so-called [i]new[/i] sword-cabals seem to be nothing, but sword-fallen, just reskinned lol...many emotes, old stuff...most supers are old stuff...nessus looks mostly like venus...and so on...most fanboys won't like it, but that's a sad truth...especially as i was hoping myself, wishing profoundly that i get proved wrong, but it needs a fully retard for not having expected anything else...the worst thing is that all the blindly following fanboys are the problem...praising everything, even obviously lazy work, when it needed more than ever ppl to kick bungie's fake a**es to push them giving us a quality product...sad days for all of us, those who were hoping for something truly new, as destiny remains once more a giant led by dwarfes...peace ,)

I will play it until I get all of the upgraded sparrow variations in collection and all of the vendor ships and emblems. (Already have the shaders). Perhaps some kind souls will help me see the raids at some point as well.

I played Driver San Franciso on my PS3 for a little while yesterday. It was from 2011 I think? I still play the original Diver now and again and I bought that nearly 20 years ago. I'll be back on D1 from time to time.
