Seems like a bit of a waste to completely abandon all the work you put into your characters. I'm sure there's people out there just like me who have gear that's nigh impossible to obtain nowadays and some loose ends left still to tie up, that and you're gonna come back to use your machine guns they've decided not to add into the second one. I don't know that's how I feel about it anyway, feels like a waste to move on completely after putting so much time into the game

Destiny 2 all the way. Destiny 1 is done
-
I've gotten, and done everything in the game I wanted to. So no. I'm only playing D1 now to help clan mates out to get some things they're OCD about. When D2 drops, D1 will be squarely in my rear view mirror. Not even coming back for the Grimoire or PS exclusives.
-
I got grimoire to collect and an exotic still that was exclusive to the PS. So I'm gonna do it
-
Barring the release of an official and comprehensive list of the changes introduced between the D2 beta and the game... me.
-
absolutely.
-
I have a friend or two that won't be coming to D2 so yeah, I'll be around from time to time.

2 RepliesMy kids. They love d1 and don't care about d1 vs d2 bs. They enjoy the game so no reason to quit for them.

There is literally nothing left to do in D1 if you played consistently throughout the years. Sure you could get max grimoire or something like that but you'll still be replaying the same content that has been in the game for years.

Edited by zJDz: 8/9/2017 8:29:41 PMI will play both. I will likely spend most of my time in D2 and just go back to mess around on D1. Like use a striker and only get should charge kills in D1 since D2 shoulder charge isn't a 1 hit kill.
-
Might jump on to do a VoG once in a while...else? Probably not.
-
I would imagine at first people will still be in D1, either because they are waiting to see what d2 is like or because they can't afford it at launch, but would imagine within 9/12 months it will be dead.
-
2 RepliesMe, for I am the rumble king
-
I sold D1 but I still have the demo on my ps4 so I might play it from time to time.
-
If my super charge rate in D2 has only improved by a tiny amount then I will be back playing Destiny 1.
-
Depends on how much I like D2. As disappointed as I was with the beta, I'll probably end up sticking with D2 since D1 isn't going to be updated anymore. I also imagine D1 servers won't be very populated after D2 launches.
-
I imagine i will but not as much especially early on - still stuff I would like to collect
-

Edited by Scratch: 8/9/2017 7:24:57 PMMe. I play on Xbox so.... Locked content... Yay.(sarcasm)
-
i'll still play because i like the game
-
Nope I don't have anything to work for in D1 so I am greatly looking forward to D2.
-
I definitely will not be even after Xbox gets the other PS exclusive stuff.
-
7 RepliesWill only go back if you can cheese the flawless raider achievement again. That's all I'm missing 😡
-
Im good and done with Destiny 1. Im just lingering around it until D2, but once thats out.. Destiny is going on the shelf. I will remember it fondly, but I have no plans to go back to it, not even when xbox gets ps4's hand-me-downs.
-
Absolutely not. I fired it up just for kicks yesterday and the connections were at an all-time low. Loaded into two games that weren't even fully populated too. It'll be even worse after D2 drops. I had my fun I'm ready for D2 and all the other FPS games I play.
