Seems like a bit of a waste to completely abandon all the work you put into your characters. I'm sure there's people out there just like me who have gear that's nigh impossible to obtain nowadays and some loose ends left still to tie up, that and you're gonna come back to use your machine guns they've decided not to add into the second one. I don't know that's how I feel about it anyway, feels like a waste to move on completely after putting so much time into the game

I feel like I'll still play 1 until I'm like...all in with 2. So I guess both? Por que no las dos :D

I'll still be playing it!
-
7 RepliesMany. Because they are not buying D2.
-
I can’t even play 1 now
-
1 Replyknowing bungo they will probably discontinue d1, and try and force eveyone to play d2
-
I might try to get the jade rabbit and play the other exclusive content. There's a lot of low levels/kinder guardians so It would be cool if there was still weekly raids/nightfalls I might help some more noobs through them.
-
2 RepliesI have lost all motivation to play D1 since the D2 beta ended. D1 just isn't enjoyable to me anymore.
-
I are... If only to use pocket infinity😈💪👊
-
Maybe still working on my last class item for my hunter.
-
Haven't really been on destiny in a long time. Already did all the raid challenges. Already went flawless in trials. Not really anything left for me there.
-
Not I. D1 is a thing of the past. Comic book issue #0. Moving on to the real deal of Comic book issue #1.
-
1 ReplyNot me. I'm DONE with one. Not that I have any distain for it whatsoever, it's just two is where the Destiny universe is now at. I'm a lore centric guy, and as far as I'm concerned D1 is in the past, we are now in the events of D2 and so I will play D2. I know, I know, the Vex, exo stranger and time travel, blah blah blah lol. I really can't wait for 2 though, under a month to go guys! The only thing I wish I had with me is my Red death and maybe a couple legendaries, oh well. HYPED

1 ReplyD1 will be officially DEAD September 7th. Who will play it? Iron banner is no more. What about the weekly stuff will that still be available and reset every week? The raids for nostalgia sake maybe?
-
1 ReplyHave fun playing with all the 3rd world redbars
-

5 RepliesEdited by TheCyo: 8/10/2017 1:30:35 PMHopefully some ppl will still play D1. I'm not willing as a single Q player to support Bungies vision of a Team based Crucible by a) Being constantly matched against full fire teams with my side just randoms b) Being used to late join and fill up losing sides against (you guessed it) full fire teams So guys like me keep Bungie's grand Team based plan alive by filling up the ranks. But we do not get anything in return. Except being stomped. Yeah, Rumble and 6v6 in D1 hopefully stays alive a long time.

Idk I'll buy destiny 2 and all dlc for 29.99 when destiny 3 comes out.
-
I might hop on for a day in October when I'm finally allowed to play the strike and multiplayer maps locked on my disc.
-
On the legacy consoles, D1 was frozen at version 2.3.1.1 (iirc) at the end of year 2. Auto rifles still kick, and it's reassuring to know that your favorite guns won't be made obsolete or nerfed into the ground. On September 6th I suspect D1 will be frozen at whatever version it is now. It'll still have custom games and all your heavy weapons will still work. The guns you like won't change going forward.
-
Considering how awful connections will be at that point. Very little chance.
-
I'll still play it after I've romped through D2 but it's gonna be a while. Just remember people: save some of your favorite weapons just in case they leave 'em behind in a future DLC 😉
