Even if you're one of the players who despised Reach, there's no argument that it was a smashing success.
LOL! I thought I was the only one.

Not to be misunderstood, I actually like Reach quite a lot. But also, a lot of people didn't like it at all after they bought it and ran through it. I understand where they were coming from with their lore and game play mechanics critiques, but for my own personal opinion, I liked Reach very much. But just because I might be in the minority, doesn't keep me from recognizing the reality that many people disliked/hated it. I can disagree with people on that, but still recognize their opinions as valid, hence why I mentioned it in my post. :)

Most people I talk about reach with thought it was great, I on the other hand played the beta and then didn't touch it again until it was a free with gold game. Idk, too much about it just didn't feel right to me.

I understand that. I didn't get into the Beta for Reach, as ODST wasn't really my bag. So by the time I picked it up, the Beta was well over. I bought Reach on launch day, and I quickly fell in love with it. But the adult in me realizes that not everyone (and most likely not even a majority of people) will agree with me. I can accept that, and it's not an attack on my opinion. Just a difference of opinion. But yeah, personally, I thought Reach was the best Halo of them all. I do love H3 as well, and IMO it's a very close second to Reach, but Reach had so many things about it that worked well for me, that it still remains my favorite Halo title to current day. And that's something that's lost on many people on the internet in 2017. Just because someone doesn't share your opinion, doesn't mean they're personally attacking you over it. So I want to thank you for having a grounded discussion like this, even though we disagree on the quality of Reach. :)
