I'm sick and tired of people saying the warlock jump is the worst. It's amazing, and they made it even better in D2. The glide is good IF you know to use it. (And apparently no one does...)

Could you explain how to use it?

I thought it was amazing in D1. Had tons of fun. Now I'm D2? Totally different story, as they took away every ounce of horizontal speed glide ever had in it. Now it serves to make you a target if someone is shooting at you while it's active.
