well, we can use lag switch as a generic term of manually altering your own connection better or lesser. My house has three separate wifi signals i can use: 2.4, 5 ghz and an overcrowded hotspot. I use the best one, but if i choose i could easily have my PS4 swap to a crappy signal in about 10 seconds. Fing comcast "xfinity" is crap. It makes a big difference.
