The first Mass Effect game is favorite, followed by the 2nd. I don't talk about ME3. And imo, I wish they stopped with ME3. Because ME:A is trash. The writing is subpar, the open world feels open for the sake of openess and is largely empty, and then there's the facial animations and glitches.
Mass Effect Andromeda is a boring game, but more than that it's a trash Mass Effect game

I disagree, Mass Effect: Andromeda isn't the only game that lacks in these departments. Everytime I play through the original Mass Effect I notice more and more flaws, the same with the other two games. Andromeda isn't nearly as bad as people say it is and the original trilogy isn't nearly as good as people say it is. It's similar to how people put Morrowind on a pedestal when that game is pretty bad in every department except for it's writing and world building, which it does great in. Then those same people move on to bash Skyrim, which is a lot better than Morrowind overall.

The original Mass Effect came out a decade ago. Games should get better, not worse. Mass Effect is exactly as bad as I'm saying it is

It did come out 10 years ago, but that doesn't excuse the poor combat mechanics, some of the awful voice acting and the terrible writing decisions. Andromeda does a good job in all of these categories. The combat is the best it's ever been in the series, the voice acting, for the most part, is top notch and it's writing is great. There are parts in the main questline that fall kind of flat, but outside of that are some of the best stories and characters I've seen in a Mass Effect game.

Also the voice acting in Mass Effect was top notch. The only mediocre part of the first Mass Effect was male Shepard's voice actor. And terrible writing decisions? Let me guess, you played the games out of order. The combat is as watered down as it's ever been, the voice acting was ok, the writing was sub par. These are the main parts of the game that Andromeda falls short

I got hooked on Mass Effect prior to the release of ME2, I beat it multiple times before ME2 was out. So no I didn't play them out of order and even if I did that doesn't change what I'm saying. Mass Effect Andromeda is a good game, you disliking it doesn't change that.

I'm aware and I acknowledge that in my original post. But objectively the game isn't nearly as bad as people say. If you didn't like it then that's fine but you should at least be able to acknowledge that it's not bad. I don't like The Witcher series but that is considered one of the best game series ever made. I know that The Witcher is a great game because it was made well and it runs well, but I still don't like it.

If I thought the game was objectively mediocre. I would say that. I think the game is objectively bad. I don't like any of the Uncharteds or The Last of US. I can acknowledge that they are good games that I don't like. That's not the case with Andromeda
