I keep noticing that people who loved the first the most tend to love Andromeda, myself included.
I really like Andromeda and definitely feel much of the hate was unwarranted and/or blown way out of proportion. Is it the best ME? No cause like you said ME1 gets that spot. Yet i still think it's worthy of being an ME title.

Seriously, undeserved hate? Did hyou play ME:A on the first week? That was an utter embarrassment for a AAA game, releasing something that broken earned BW that anger. The only thing I can agree with was it snowballed after a time, but it wasn't like it wasn't earned.

I got the game the day it released and still greatly enjoyed it despite the glitches (Like peebee's room not existing and me falling into space and having to quit and start the game up again) And facial animations have never bugged me in a game.

But I did see the most ridiculous dead faces (Addison), Ryder's face animations, a lackluster plot with no sense of urgency, much less the problems with the Kett, outposts, Archon and end fight. For a BW game this was a mess and should never have been released in the state it was in and deserving of the harsh criticism.

I've played it since day one and didn't notice many of the issues that people had. The only issues i had within the first 2 weeks of my first playthrough was getting stuck behind doors on 2 occasions. Never had any other issues outside of that.

Than you were very fortunate.

Maybe. I never pay attention to glitches in any game. So i probably just don't care

Edited by Bake8935: 7/7/2017 6:48:55 PMIdk if I can agree that ME1 was better than 2. I LOVE ME1, and its probably in my top 10 of all time, but ME2 is top 3. It's an outstanding game. As for Andromeda, I've cooled a bit on it since I finished it. It's definitely a good game imo, but when I was playing it I kept telling myself this is my GOTY, but I think I was letting my love for the franchise cloud my judgment. It has definite flaws, not the least of which is an inferior cast to previous games. It's a small crew, and I only liked about half of them. Cora and Liam in particular were a bit dull, and in Liam's case, unlikable. He felt like a character they tried too hard to make likable, and he ended up just coming off as a jackass. Peebee can be lumped in with that as well. She really annoyed me at times. Vetra, Jaal, and Drack were all awesome though.
