The voice acting for side quests are just so cringey, they make mass effect Andromeda facial animations look like a naughty dog game.
I'd say just do your best to get through the story, and trade it in. The game has some solid gameplay with a decent amount of depth, and the story was quite good, but other than that, it's a game you can beat once and trade in afterwards for a solid return investment.
I bought it on sale for $39.99, and then traded it in for $35.

Came here expecting to see an Xbox gamer tag, was not disappointed. Eerily suspicious that you haven't even played it if you seriously think anything about ME:A is better, and if you really recommend rushing through the story and selling the game. Lol.

How am I bitter? Because I own a PS4 Pro, bought the game, beat it, and made a valid criticism about one of the few problems of the game? Sounds like you're the one that's bitter lol.

I don't think you've ever seen ME: A and the train wreck it was to think HZD is somehow worse. If HZD's voice acting and facial animations looked worse than ME: A you'd have a lot of people talking about it because my God would that be something to witness.

That's because people bandwagon hated ME: A and only a few parts in the game had really bad facial animations. I'm talking just about the side quests and only some of them in Horizon as well. The voice acting sounds like in some parts that they just got one of their devs to do it and just said -blam!- it lol.

They just announced their first expansion though. I actually play Xbox but I was a bit jelly of Ps when I saw this title, and the expansion looks promising.

I'm not much for single player expansions. They're never as good as the original game so I normally don't bother lol. That's just me though. I have both Xbox and PS4 Pro, but I only use PS4 for single player games that I can beat quickly to trade them in towards other games
