So long as I can play it without having a seizure, and it's fun to play, I couldn't give a rat's ass what fps a game runs at.

My thoughts exactly. All the talk about graphics and FPS and all that is ultimately meaningless to me. As long as the appearance of the game is comprehensible and I can figure out what's going, that's all that matter to me on the graphics front.

At the end of the day, if it's a shit game you're not gonna play it for very long, no matter how great it looks.

Indeed. Gameplay is probably overall the most important aspect of any game, followed closely by story (if it even has one). 'Cause even if it's the best story in the world, if the gameplay is shit, people are much less likely to play it, though there are definitely some who'd let choose to suffer through the shit gameplay if the story is good enough...I'd probably fall close to that category.
