Why is age a factor here?
60 FPS is better, no question. If it can be achieved, then the developers are at fault for not adding it.
That being said, It doesn't necessarily hinder my enjoyment if a game is 30FPS, as long as it is stable.

People over 25 may have grown up with the N64 and NES and GameCube etc, with very low frame rates, and enjoyed it all the same. Though that way of thinking is silly because times change. There's a reason we don't play in 8-bit anymore.

Edited by Martiis: 6/23/2017 2:20:56 PMExcept all NES games ran at 60, and over 90% of SNES games ran at 60. The N64 is when low frame rates became the norm for consoles.

I think OP is trying to see if having grown up with lower FPS (older demographic) makes one more accepting of lower frame rates.

A big part of it yes.
Why is age a factor here?.
I explained why I was looking at an age demographic. Did you skim that part?
