Hopefully the success of The Witcher 3 forces them to up their game in Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and any other RPGs they make in the near future.

Every Bethesda game I've ever played is better than Witcher 3. Thing about that statement is its an opinion and not a fact to fall back on. Same goes for the other way around.

Doubt it, they've gotten extremely lazy. They have dumbed down every elder scrolls game since morrowind, I wonder how dumbed down the next elder scrolls game will be.

I really liked Skyrim's combat tbh. It was very simple and gratifying. My problem with it was was that alteration and illusion were garbo (except for invisibility), most magic builds sucked because the dps just wasn't there a lot of the time. Sword and shield was super powerful late game because you could just perma stun with sheild bash or sheild charge. Stealth was just absolutely broken once you got access to invisibility (looking at you 30x dagger multiplyier).

Yeah CDPR has definitely eclipsed BGS. By far. Whatever their next game is it'll be measured next to The Witcher 3. There is also some stuff they could learn from Breath of the Wild.
