Who Controls The Taken In D2?
Who controls the new Taken in D2? Who is the new Hive/Taken antagonist? Is it Nokris, Savathun, or even Eris Morn? Community, talk it out.
Edit: A questioning fact, correct me if I'm wrong, but all of the new Taken seen so far are Cabal, and on some, you can even still see red or the symbol of the Cabal Red Legion.

Eris simply because some people who are silent are planning big moves. We did for her and she done for us. With Oryx death, and the taken/hive temporarily defeated it would be perfect for her to come with experience on how guardians work.

The taken mission on earth that starts in the first area tells us that sections of the taken can control themselves. Zavala says a coven of wizards are running the show there so it's quite possible that they will start forming their own factions.

I actually don't think she's a bad character in disguise. And it's not just the Taken that are back, but the Hive as well. But the hive were still present even after Crota was defeated. So with these guys, it's like eternal life.

But their is an empty throne currently to control them all at large. I believe Savanuth has the claim to that throne through sword logic and her worm's hunger

8 RepliesEris Morn. I do not trust her. After what she said at the end of Regicide I don't think she truly sided with the guardians. I believe she wants to control the hive and taken. She knows the sword logic and she knows we won't take Oryxs place. The hive and taken are stuck in a power vacuum because they have no leader. I believe Eris wants to become Queen of the hive, maybe to keep them in check or something different.

Since we (and Bungie) don't know what the Light and Darkness is, who's to say we even know what the taken (and the rest of the enemies) are? If you see something moving that's not on your fireteam, shoot it.

Well... we don't know what their motives are. We also don't know how destroying the Touch of Malice affects Oryx's soul. In response to your edit, EVERY TAKEN FROM D1 will be present in Lake of Shadows, not just Cabal. Also, the only Taken with a NEW MODEL is the boss itself, a Taken Bloodguard Phalanx.

You need to use a razor consumable several times per week, and at least twice in the raid.
