How is a beta just before launch going to help them fix issues found? Bungie still hasn't fixed issues reported during beta and early year.
Edit: Never mind, miss posted date. Though curious to see if two months is enough time to fix issues found.

It's not, it's meant for bungie to test on their side to make sure they are ready to handle the traffic, crashes, push updates etc.

Wait so you think Bungie isn't using valuable beta time to stress test the game? That's what betas are for plus attracting players.

That's what I meant by traffic, crashes, pushing updates. Stress test is a much better way to put it. And yes build hype/advertise comes in a close second
