I hope Sony won't panic and release another console for another 2-3 years. I want next gens, if there will be next gens, to get it right. The original PS4 and Xbox One were woefully underpowered. Next gen consoles should be able to run 1080p 60 fps at minimum, no problem, and native 4k 30 fps at max.

I think the "generation" model of console marketing is done. What both MS and Sony seem to be moving to is the more incremental-change model that is the rule in PC gaming. The problem with the level of performance that you're asking for----across all games----is both expense...and heat production. Until those problems can be solved, unlikely you'll see CPU/GPU combos that powerful for quite some time. Word had it that Bungie was running the PC version of D2 on computers with graphics cards that cost more than entire PS4 Pro console.

Yeah, 1080TI graphics cards with Intel i7 7700k CPUs. I don't think consoles are going to be as powerful as I mentioned, but I hope that the next refresh doesn't cut corners like the consoles now have.

I'm happy with my PS4 Pro...(not big on framerates).....though the Xboxes have been a bit of a disappointment. It always seems that the XB version of a multiplatform game always has annoying problems compared to the PS4 version.
