[i]The inside of the room looked as if a hurricane had roared through. Things of all sorts laid on the floor, scattered as if they'd been rooted through. Cases had been opened and tossed, papers laying all over the place. A hole appeared to have been kicked in the drywall.[/i]

Alex inspects the room, looking for anything of interest. He paces around.

[i]The floor was littered with old issues of Playboy, bullet casings, empty liquor bottles, a few empty magazines, even some old playing cards. The open cases and safes bore only money, but it hadn't been touched. What exactly had the intruder been looking for?[/i]

Alex adjusts his shades. "What's going on here?" He asks aloud.
