No sense in making your pops have reactions over a pet. Wait 2 years and rescue when you move out. Rescuing a cat now won't stop countless others from being euthanized after. Can't save em all.

Yeah, but I don't plan on moving out as soon as I hit 18, I still have college to go through, but thanks for the advice. And he's only allergic to longer haired cats, short haired like DSH, Siamese, Bengal, and Russian blue have no effect on him
