Finally finished Mass Effect 2
Yes, I know I'm 7 years late to this amazing game but I've just started this trilogy a month ago and have since finished ME1 and ME2.
I managed to 100% everything in ME, saved the Rachni and Council, left Kaidan on Virmire, saved Wrex and the Major on Virmire, painstakingly went to EVERY SINGLE system for everything on the planet, beat every assignment except 2(the one on Eden prime cuz I can't decrypt and the one that you get based on early life). I put everything into Paragon and Charm, so I was able to take Saren down through words.
And now onto ME2. This time I actually got 100%, got the trilogy bundle for PS3 so I got all Dlc besides Arrival, got every model ship, fish, and souvenir, got everyone's loyalty as well as all the upgrades. So I managed to complete the suicide mission without any casualties, including the rest of the crew.
So enough of the wall of text, tell me how your suicide mission went(which crew/squad members you lost), and which one is your favorite ME game.
Edit #1: just for people who ask, everyone survived for me in ME2, my favorite is ME2(although ME3 citadel brings ME3 pretty high up), and I romanced tali in ME2

8 RepliesNo one died my first suicide mission since it seemed obvious to do all loyalty missions beforehand. I did Jacks loyalty towards the end based off advice from a friend. I see why he told me since paragon was full. So her and Mirandas argument didn't effect her loyalty. Same with Legion and Tali. Choosing who does what in the suicide mission is also easy. Just gotta pay attention really.

3 RepliesThe first time I beat ME2 I only lost Jacob near the beginning of the suicide mission. However I have beaten ME2 at least 8 times and have tried every combination of events. Sometimes everyone lives, and for me one of the most fun endings is trying to get everyone killed including shepherd. And yes that is one of the possible endings.

1 ReplyEdited by MldSqrrl: 5/29/2017 9:31:58 AMJack, legion, thane and garrus died. Garrus died because Jack wasn't loyal and couldn't hold the bubble, I was kinda glad Jack died. I also went into mass effect blind, so I originally didn't know how Garrus died and it was just so instant and I totally didn't almost cry. I was also in the fem shep best shep camp, so obviously I was banging Garrus. Once that mission was over I turned off the xbox, went into bed and had my own little mourning for Garrus, I like mMss Effect way too much lol. Edit: Just thinking about Garrus's death got me a bit sad.

Played as every class, did virtually every combination of choices, did all the romances, got all the DLC including promotional and collector's edition stuff. This is my favorite series. And then ME:A ruined it. I'm kidding, but not much. Ryders are so uncharismatic, I don't care about anyone or anything.
