People have talked about this for a long time, it's just because the Traveler states so you see a different side of it when you come to the tower at different times.

That's part of it, but it also does appear to be more intact.

Yea at one point it goes into wanning fase or something . It gets called out over the speakers in tower and its lit up at the bottom.
