Good mystery and anticipation. Your cliffhangers between parts are spot on. Do you release each part individually before posting the next, or chapter at a time? I only ask because cliffhangers aren't [i]as[/i] necessary if the next part is right behind.
Question for my benefit: I know the monsters are from Destiny 2, so this must take place during the transition from 1 to 2. Where/when do we find out that the Fallen have either left Earth or been killed by the Cabal? I've seen it mentioned a couple of times like it's common knowledge, but I'm on a legacy console, so I haven't done anything past Taken King's April update.

The system is working so far. As for the Fallen and Cabal, it is not mentioned in game but it is official Destiny 2 lore that the Fallen are leaving Earth in anticipation of the Red Legion's invasion. Now the Cabal killing the Fallen? That's something of my own design.
