- Still 30FPS only on Consoles
- Still no Dedicated Servers
- Still the same crappy Netcode
- Still the same crappy 30/10Hz Tickrate
- Still this SBMM bullshit involved
- 4v4 modes only (to reduce obvious lag and matchmaking times due to points mentioned above)
- Still no word for PvP/PvE change separation
All that in late 2017...what a joke.
I'll pass on that one. Maybe a used copy for 30bucks a few days after launch for PvE once a while...but another 2000+ hours? Hell no...

Eh, im not so bothered, i play pve mostly and enjoy pvp as well, i'm not 100% informed on the technicality of it, never looked it up and never had it explained, but im sure they have a good reason, perhaps they had to sacrifice the frame and tick rate for bigger maps and more content, or else maybe the consoles wouldnt be able to run it, though i agree on the SBMM, that crap needs to go
-
Yeah it's dead, when the division comes out every will leave for it and .......oh.
-
Maybe Destiny 2 will rid us all of your e-peen and we will finally be able to have a good experience in trials?! Maybe.
-
Lmfao see you at the European Dead Zone!
-
Go away. Don't buy the game. Go play, idk, cod or something. Here are your bags. Leave. Get out. F%ck off.
-
you wont be missed dude
-
I don't recall Bungie divulging any of the specs during their reveal...
-
The funny part about reducing the fireteam size to 4v4 doesn't change lag at all look at trials 3v3 lmao :'D
-
See ya in BETA ;-)
-
Cool, see you in D2.

Edited by Urban Athem : 5/20/2017 6:23:29 AMEveryone is so bothered by pvp, the joy of destiny is in PVE but apparently 50% of you aren't even good enough to finish a raid. Soooooo git gud scrubs and quit acting like crybabies.

oh give over all the crap I have not seen any posts on these forums about FPS or Tickrate, obviously a streamer or youtuber has mentioned it and now you are all on the bandwagon Bungie have said months go that CBMM takes prominence over SBMM but most you who are moaning wouldn't be able to tell the difference which is why there are still these ridiculous posts! If it pees you off go find a much better pvp game there are plenty out there
-
Why even comment on this snowflakes thread? He will just mute everyone who disagrees with him anyway

Frame rate is a preference I was fine either way. Dedicated servers still have lag. I don't think they confirmed anything else you said except the 4v4 game modes. Rumble isn't a team game so it's still gonna have 6 players I'd say. And from what I've seen they pvp and pve is separate now. Sticky grenades weren't 1 shots in pvp but were in pve and melee was 3 shot to full health guardians but seemed to work the way it does in destiny in pve
-
Did they change/improve anything the community has asked for the past 2.5 years? I don't remember one person asking for 4v4 instead of 6v6 lol.
-
If you can't even let go of the forums to come & bitch on, you definitely aren't able to put the game down. Looking forward to seeing you day 1 & all the more ridiculous complaints you can muster up!

In some ways it's difficult for me to understand why the game appears to have stagnated technically, but in some ways I do. The frame rate is unimportant to me, 30fps is fine in my opinion, but not introducing dedicated servers means to me that Bungie/Activision have no regard for the Destiny PVP community, their interest seems to be firmly focused on accumulating more and more money. I always wondered why so many questions regarding the state of PVP remained unanswered by Bungie on these forums over the past 2-3 years and now I believe I know why. Bungie must've realised early on that P2P was inadequate so they wouldn't admit to Destiny 1's Crucible failures knowing they were going to reintroduce the very same substandard connection in Destiny 2.
-
Activision has never had dedicated servers for any of their games. It was obvious they wouldn't have them for Destiny 2.
-
100% guarantee you'll be playing. Your game time in d1 proves this. Your addicted like we all are.
-
Leave. Leave and never come back. There's no pleasing the likes of you.
-
If you play the game for frame rate and such, don't even play.
-
Didn't watch the steam yet but none of what you said surprised me. Why would Bungo bother doing anything different when the first game was a massive success and even the haters kept coming back and ate up everything Bungo put on their plate. I for one am excited, I loved D1 and will be there day 1 for destiny 2. If you don't like what you've seen, vote with your wallet this time.

Well peace dude. I'll be chilling in my casual pve happy place where I don't give a shit about that technical bs. I wouldn't mind if pvp killed itself quickly, and all the "competitive" pvpers jumped ship. I'd feel a lot more comfortable with the reduced nerf threats.
