What was the Side Boss reference in Vanilla? I hope to God it's a direct attack on the Boss like VOG or Crota or Wrath and not and indirect attack like TTK... TTK was an Awesome team effort of a Raid but the Boss fight although tough and coordination central it was very unsatisfying not getting to directly deliver the pain...

I think he means Atheon is a side boss. Since he's never mentioned at all in the base game, he's just the random super powerful boss of the Vault, which is mentioned once, I think.

Yeah I mean it's fairly obvious that Gary will be the raid boss. A good story driven antagonist trumps Atheon (or even Aksis, who isn't mentioned by name either).
