Wish I could get max light that quickly! Took me at least 5-10 days...

She's not max light. Takes 2 days to hit 400

2 days? with a vault full of exotic engrams maybe. Otherwise no it takes a week or so of very tedious grind. Usually trying to find a chest and boots. Maybe another week to get enough extra 400 bits to give loadout options.

Hit 400 in 2 days. I've very limited gear and options but yeah. Created my second hunter yesterday, just so I can do stuff twice, so now a 400 + 399, but it's caused me to get arthritis in my hands lul

Getting to 399 can be a slog but getting 400 with a few loadout options isn't as easy as most say it is. Once you get 400 it does get easier with extras transferred to your other characters if you have them.

I'm 393 now, after 1 day, n I've still not touched iron banner, just played 2 quick games, or any raids. Yeah 400s a push, but it's possible. I don't understand how people are still like 343 after years

I had to look you up because there was honestly no way I could believe someone hit nearly max in one day, totally fresh. ...how? I'm hands down astounded. how?

395 now, 2 light off 396 and if I ran all 4 raids I'd be 400 but my challenge was to hit 400 solo in 1 day and there isn't enough time :(( Long story short, campaign + bounties , plus some poe28, to level 40. Do public event , dread patrol, paradox n zone control for marks, buy 380 ghost + 380 class item from speaker. Saved all blue engrams on route to 40, popped them once I equipped ghost + cloak, that I think got me to 305, did RoI story, ended that 340. Ran arcons forge for an hour, had enough blues to hit 381. Ran heroic strikes to 390. Then arcons + packages to 393, iron banner to 395 Key is buying the 380 ghost as that holds you back when decrypting, and running poe28 maybe 6-8 times around level 30-38 to get me 50+ strange coins. Speakers class items are only 60 marks, and 380, helped also. Got 2 exotic engrams, both armours, arms were ophidians n I wanted double tripmine ones :( n legs were frosteees n I wanted bones :( Logging off for the night, I'm 1 game from completing my last iron banner bounty + I've just bought another 60 3 of coins Cheers for asking

Edited by skira65: 5/16/2017 12:00:10 PMI left when taken wallet dropped and came back for RoI, I dont know exactly but it took me roughly a month to max my 3 characters to 40/400. You can get close pretty quickly now tower gear drops at 390 but the last bit is a grind unless you get lucky. I had a hard time with body armour and heavy. Edit, all done with strikes, forge, bit of IB and NF, no raids

Vendor gear is 380, but yeah helped enormously.

Apologies, my bad I meant engrams can decrypt to 390 and faction rewards go to 400 but getting faction up and 3oC is still a grind. Destinys progression system is still laughably bad but better than Y1
