It's fun, and it works, but I'm conditioned to mash that sprint button. Then I forget to crouch again, similar to how I always forget to shadestep when I play nightstalker.

Haha! I don't even select the shadestep perk, when I play as a nightstalker anymore, which is kinda rare for me anyway. It's a wasted perk, when I use nightstalker. I've used bladedancer for so long, that I just can't remember to use shadestep either. There's no point in me wearing the exotic helmet either, so I just always use the extra melee gauntlets, to get an extra smoke, which is really the only other viable exotic for nightstalker, other than the boots, I guess. I just find that an extra smoke works better with my play style, than anything that any of the boots provide.

In mayhem you can quite literally have a grenade and melee every second or less >:D I'm wrecking this iron banner my last game I had a kd of 11.0 and I died once ;) it's op.

Edited by FrenetiCreature: 5/14/2017 9:53:37 PMWell, Yeah, in Mayhem, I'm sure they're great. But, I don't do a whole lot of sprinting, normally. Usually, I'll run from my spawn, until I see red on my radar, then I'll stop and aim down sight, and wait for them to come to me. I don't usually engage first. I try to setup somewhere, where I feel like I'll have the advantage, and try to bait them into coming to me. Like, I don't just run around, and fire at the first person I see. If nobody comes within a few seconds, or the red disappears, I'll run somewhere else, then stop and get ready again. Side note: (This is one of the reasons I hate a sniper meta. Many more people are doing the same thing as I am, except they're doing it with snipers, and they'll setup somewhere, and stay there for 5 minutes at a time. So it doesn't work as well for me. I actually have to go hunt people down, if I want any points. Don't they know I'm trying be lazy here? Haha!) I also, really only use Bladedancer, like 99.9% of the time. The only time I ever deviate from that, is in Mayhem, where I use a Gunslinger, with achlyophage Symbiote. It just seems to work so much better. I rarely use Nightstalker anyway. Anyway, I'm never constantly running around, so Frostees don't work with my playstyle, very well.

Getting hate mail for t-bagging at inopportune moments?
-
No more like trying to dodge tracking on a skip or axion and just teabagging nothing
-
It takes time plus if you sprint you can slide into the crouch

My problem is I spend too much time on my striker, so I have no muscle memory for this style of play. Slide -> shoot I get. But then I'm off running again. So the steps don't really do much for me. There's good synergy between the perks but it favors a more conservative playstyle.
