Hey sharkasi96,
Oryx challenge is working as intended. If you're experiencing issues there may be someone in your game having connection issues or Oryx is not taking enough consistent damage to the chest while the blights are being detonated. The latter seems to be the more common issue. Please keep in mind, the damage needs to be more consistent than powerful. Using a high rate of fire weapon (Touch of Malice) is better than using a low rate of fire weapon (Sleeper Simulant, rockets, etc).

The problem is that this happened to me more than once with different fireteams and we focused damage on oryx

I had this twice with two different fire teams . Each time about halfway through the fight we noticed lag on one player and come detonation time oryx was still fine. Third time I tried it with a new team there was no lag and we beat him. If you notice lag at anytime then chances are you wont beat it, sometimes though it does correct itself but rarely. Sucks I know !!!
