Sound cards are totally useless. Optical drives are generally pretty useless as well, if you need one for something buy a cheap USB one on amazon. Power supply is terrible.

I only put the sound card because people said there's a noticeable difference. Happy someone told me they're not all that necessary. Figured I'd need drive to install Windows. Other than that I'd never use it. Was also unsure about the power supply. I'll take a look at the link asap

You can download the windows setup for free from Microsoft's website. Then you just enter the product key you get with the purchase when it asks.

I also think I'm gonna go with the build you provided.

I recommend splurging for an SSD whether it's now or later.

Was planning to later on

Nice. I have a 4TB external atm so my new build will have an M.2 SSD and no SATA cables!

Glad you like it!

I gotta look up how to do that then.

It's easy with Windows 10. Just download it to a 4 GB or larger USB flash drive. Put that into a USB port when you start your new pc. It will probably just boot directly from the drive straight to the Windows install screen, but if it doesn't and takes you to the uefi just find the flash drive under boot settings and select it.

Writing this down now. That's very useful
